A company earns an award through its performance, not by deciding to pay for it. Scoris evaluates all companies according to the same rules. Payment cannot change the result, waive an unmet criterion, or grant an award to a company that has not earned it.

Evaluation methodology

Business Excellence Award 13 criteria. All mandatory.

These criteria apply only to the "Business Excellence Award". TOP 500 and TOP 100 in the municipality nominations are awarded based on sales revenue – their rules are provided below.

Mature and operating company

The company has been operating for at least 2 years, has at least 2 employees, an eligible form of an independent commercial legal entity, and has no registered liquidation, bankruptcy, restructuring, or other transitional legal status.

Strong financial foundation

2025 financial statements are available, there are no overdue mandatory reports, 2025 sales revenue is at least EUR 50,000, and equity accounts for at least 5% of total assets.

Company reliability evaluated

The Scoris rating is at least 4, and the company's risk level is assessed as low or medium.

Debt discipline is evaluated over time

Not only the current status is checked, but also the 12-month debt history with Sodra and the STI: fewer than 14 days with a non-deferred debt of EUR 1,000 or more and no such debt on the latest available data date.

Legal and sanctions check

Published court data on civil cases from the past 24 months is evaluated, and it is verified that the company is not on the international sanctions list published by the FNTT.

If at least one criterion is not met, the award is not granted. The evaluation is carried out equally for all companies, regardless of purchase.

TOP nomination criteria

What does it mean to make the TOP 500 or TOP 100?

These are nominations based on sales revenue, not a multifaceted "Business Excellence Award" evaluation. The ranking is determined solely based on 2025 financial data.

National rating

Lithuania TOP 500

  • The company is active, has at least 1 employee, and meets the list's legal status and legal form rules.
  • The rank is determined by 2025 sales revenue across Lithuania; the top 500 places earn a nomination.
  • Companies without 2025 financial data are not ranked. Sanctioned companies and those with active insolvency proceedings are also excluded.

Municipality rating

TOP 100 in the municipality

  • The same activity, employee, legal status, legal form, and sanctions rules apply as for the TOP 500.
  • The rank is determined by 2025 sales revenue in the municipality of the company's registration; revenue must be at least EUR 100,000.
  • Up to the top 100 places earn the nomination. In smaller municipalities, the list of eligible companies may be shorter.

Are the award and digital certificate really free?

Yes. If the company meets all 13 criteria, the "Business Excellence Award" and a personalized digital certificate are provided free of charge.

Is it possible to buy an award without earning it?

No. The evaluation result does not depend on a purchase. Only optional services are paid – a printed certificate and additional award visibility on the company's Scoris profile.

Is the rating valid permanently?

No. Dynamic criteria are re-checked. If a company no longer meets at least one mandatory criterion, its award status is suspended.

Does the award confirm the quality of products or services?

No. It confirms that at the time of evaluation, the company met the published criteria for financial resilience, tax discipline, risk level, legal status, and other methodology criteria.
