TOP Employers
Ranking of Lithuania's top employers based on official data
The TOP ranking of Lithuania's best employers is compiled solely from official data from 'Sodra', VMI, and the Center of Registers - no surveys, voting, or paid participation. Only numbers speak here: salaries and their growth for all employee levels, employee retention, company financial health, and tax discipline. All indicators are primarily compared with companies in the same field of activity, so a good employer can be in any sector and any city in Lithuania. The list is constantly updated based on the latest data.

How the rating is calculated
Active Lithuanian companies with at least 50 employees that have submitted their latest annual financial statement, hired at least 25 new employees in the last 12 months, and had no chronic debts to the state are evaluated. Temporary employment agencies are not evaluated, and banks and branches of foreign companies cannot be included in the list as they do not provide public financial statements.
Each company is evaluated in six areas: salary level (20% of the score), salary growth (15%), career and fairness - whether salaries across all levels are growing and whether compensation is distributed evenly (15%), employee retention (20%), business health and productivity (20%), and financial discipline - duration of debts to the state (10%).
Indicators are compared with companies in the same field of activity (70% weight) and the entire market (30% weight), so a manufacturing company competes with other manufacturing companies, not the IT sector. The final score is the weighted average of these areas, recalculated so that the top-ranked score is 100. A company cannot reach the top if it is among the bottom 25% of its field in terms of salaries, career, or employee retention.
The rating measures only what is visible in official data: it does not cover company culture, work flexibility, or additional benefits. Data is updated continuously, so the list may change as companies submit new financial statements or when "Sodra" data changes.
